Meet Doc & Vicki

We're a husband-and-wife team, and we've been taking care of pets in the Mission Valley since 2008.

Our Story

Dr. Jerry and Vicki Oler with their Saint Bernards

When you walk into our clinic, you'll notice something right away: there's no crowded waiting room, no frantic front desk, no feeling that you're just another name on a packed schedule. That's on purpose.

We built this practice around a simple idea: The best care for your pet with your budget at the forefront. We've been working side by side for over 17 years, and in that time we've built something we're really proud of. A vet practice that feels like visiting friends who happen to be pretty good at taking care of your pets.

Every appointment at Aloha is dedicated time for your pet. No waiting room full of stressed animals. No assembly line. When it's your pet's turn, Doc and Vicki are fully present.

Our appointment-only model isn't a limitation. It's a promise. Every visit is dedicated time for your pet, with Doc's full expertise and Vicki's steady, skilled hands. No assembly line. No rush. Just good care, given properly.

Doc and Vicki believe great veterinary care shouldn't break the bank. They'll tell you what your pet needs and work with you to make it affordable. No upselling, no unnecessary procedures.

Meet the Team

Dr. Jerry Oler, DVM

Veterinarian & Owner

Dr. Jerry Oler graduated from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. With over 35 years of veterinary experience, he brings deep expertise in small animal medicine and surgery. He and Vicki have worked together as a husband-and-wife team for over 17 years.

Everyone calls him Doc, and for good reason. He's the kind of vet who makes you feel like your pet is in the best hands possible. Over 35 years of experience since graduating from Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 means he's seen just about everything that can walk, limp, or be carried through the door.

What sets Doc apart isn't just experience. It's temperament. He's calm when your pet is anxious, thorough when other vets might rush, and honest about what your pet actually needs. He'll never recommend a procedure just because it's expensive. He recommends what's right.

Vicki Oler, LVT

Licensed Veterinary Technician & Owner

Vicki Oler working in the clinic

Vicki is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Montana, previously certified in Arizona since 2001. She manages the practice alongside Doc, handling everything from scheduling to technical procedures. Together they are the heart of Aloha Veterinary Services.

Vicki is the first voice you hear when you call, and there's a good chance she'll remember your pet's name before you tell her. She's been a certified veterinary technician since 2001, first in Arizona and now licensed in Montana, and she brings that same precision and warmth to everything she does.

She handles scheduling, client communication, and assists Doc in every procedure, from routine wellness exams to surgery. Clients often say Vicki is the heart of the practice, and they're right. She keeps everything running smoothly while making every pet owner feel like family.
